The Role

Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will contribute to the overall system and solution architecture, system integration and implementation strategy.

You will also:

1. Assist the Enterprise Architect in the creation of artefacts defining the Current and Target IT architecture and the IT Roadmap in place to achieve the target state.
2. Contribute to the design of the overall system and solution architecture, system integration and implementation strategy.
3. Take responsibility for the quality of the solution being delivered to the business, providing the policies, standards and guidelines and ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met.
4. Identify tactical approaches for solutions.
5. Present Design Documentation to the appropriate governance, authorities and boards.
6. Be accountable for ensuring solutions are aligned to the strategic roadmap and target architecture.
7. Work with architects in other enterprise domains to ensure infrastructure, information and security model meets the project and enterprise requirements.

To be successful as our Solution Architect, you will have experience of defining and implementing solution designs, delivering designs that are scalable, secure and reliable.

• You have a hands-on approach and support other team members in getting things done.
• You are a problem solver and have the ability to think strategically.
• Willing to share your knowledge and expertise; it is in your nature to mentor and develop more junior team members.
• It is preferred that you hold Azure Certifications and come from a development background. Experience within financial services would also be beneficial.
