We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a high quality, continuous improvement and product-focused mindset who enjoys working as part of a team.

The Role

As a Software Development Senior Engineer, you will be working in one of our full-stack engineering teams. Transforming our platform to be software as a service, developing next-gen products and capabilities to the Airline e-commerce marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technically hands-on including estimating, designing, coding, and debugging.
2. Providing third line engineering support to our customers.
3. Mentoring Junior members of the team.
4. Working closely with our quality and performance engineers.

Technical Skills / Knowledge/ Experience:

Essential:

1. Airline GDS or PSS integration experience using any ONE of the following:

• Sabre, Amadeus, SITA, Travelport, Galileo, Worldspan, Apollo, Abacus, Pegasus, TravelSky, Radixx, Navitaire or a bespoke airline PSS / backend system where you can demonstrate strong knowledge of PNR’s and complex flight booking structures.

Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Java development, Web Services and object orientated principles.

Solid experience in the development of highly available and scalable applications.

Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.

Ability to learn independently.

Desirable:

1. Degree in Computing or Science.
2. A good understanding of Agile principles whilst working with Scrum Teams.
3. Atlassian suite of products bitbucket/Jira/Confluence.
