Senior Software Engineer - Node, Typescript, Python - Inside IR35

Senior Software Engineer - Senior Software Developer - inside IR35 - hybrid working (3 days in Manchester, 2 days from home) - 12 month contract.

Tech: API - Kafka - Node - Typescript - Python - AWS - SQL

Exciting opportunity to work within an in-house software engineering department to develop systems, APIs, and business services within the latest technologies like DXP and Kafka Integration Platform. You will also utilise CI/CD for continuous review and improvement.

Required Skills:

1. Significant experience of Software Development in various languages such as Node, Typescript, and Python.
2. Excellent technology awareness including modern ways of working CI/CD, Containerisation, Docker etc.
3. Exposure to different systems integration technologies for example RESTFul, Message Queuing, Web Hooks etc. Experience using Kafka is required.
4. Experienced in SQL such as Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
5. Thorough use of source control capabilities and processes.
6. Experience building complex microservices ideally in cloud-based solutions specifically within AWS.
7. Team player attitude with a willingness to lead when necessary.

Please note candidates must be willing to work onsite in Manchester 3 days per week. 2 days can be worked from home.

This contract opportunity is working on an inside IR35 basis.
