Are you a seasoned full stack Software Engineer with AWS experience?

About The Role

This hybrid opportunity combines software and systems (DevOps) engineering responsibilities with 2nd line technical support. A key role in shaping the foundations of our platform, you’ll be tackling high stake projects alongside keeping the critical systems running smoothly.

Duties include:

• Software engineering – developing software solutions to meet customer and business needs
• Systems / DevOps engineering – build, monitor, support, manage and improve the infrastructure on which our services run and are delivered
• Technical support (c. 30% of the role) – actioning essential operational tasks
• On-call responsibilities being part of a 24/7 on-call rota ensuring business-critical systems remain operational.

About You

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working with established systems, solving technical challenges and handling routine but valuable support tasks when needed.

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Software Engineer with excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills. To be considered you must be able to demonstrate:

• Extensive AWS experience
• Strong programming skills (Python/Django and JavaScript)
• Solid background in software and DevOps engineering within a commercial setting
• Hands-on troubleshooting and support experience
