Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer. One of the UK’s leading and award-winning Wealth Managers seeks to hire an experienced Software Engineer to lead agile-based projects. The Senior Software Engineer will lead a team of software developers who deliver applications, integration, data, and reporting solutions across the business. The team is expanding, and the Senior Software Engineer will drive development/engineering strategy and client delivery.

The Senior Software Engineer will:

1. Influence and implement new ideas across software development teams
2. Help to implement Agile practices
3. Influence software development strategy
4. Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business
5. Be hands-on and be able to be involved in technical work when required
6. Manage high priority incidents and high-profile customers
7. Take responsibility for recruitment, training, and developing technical skills of new developers joining the team
8. Report writing and reviewing statistics for senior management

The Senior Software Engineer will have experience with:

1. Proven experience of leading projects
2. Proven experience within a financial or FinTech business
3. Technical knowledge required:
4. C# .NET
5. SQL
