With exciting new projects commencing in 2025, we are now seeking an experienced and senior Software Engineer to join their growing team and play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions that tackle complex operational challenges.

Senior Software Engineer

Manchester – hybrid with remote working from home 2 days per week.

c£75-85K plus excellent benefits package.

Due to the highly secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to hold current UK Security Clearance to DV level.

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident and experienced Back End or Full Stack Software Engineer with:

  1. Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as Java, Python, AWS, Azure, JavaScript, React, or TypeScript
  2. Commercial experience in software development
  3. Consultancy experience (preferred but not essential)

  1. Designing, developing, and testing software solutions
  2. Leveraging open-source libraries and components to create innovative solutions
  3. Using tools like GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines for monitoring and ensuring software quality and security
  4. Deploying software systems across public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud environments
  5. Engaging in all phases of the software lifecycle, from concept to maintenance
  6. Leading teams and managing client engagement, depending on experience
