Senior Software Engineer C#/.Net - Bristol - £55,000 - £65,000 p/a doe

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to come into the business who will be part of a highly collaborative workplace to develop C#/.Net code in a test driven development environment. You will have the ability to work independently bringing with you, your previous experience in software development.

In order to succeed in this role you will have a strong background in C#.Net, SQL and No-SQL databases including experience of building cloud APIs in practice. This is a practice that we are actively looking to bring into the business and a strong technical leader with the ability to train members of staff in this format would be ideal. Additionally, we are going into key full stack development, so a vast knowledge of both frontend and backend technologies would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Providing clear guidance to colleagues on best practice.
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks with the optimization of cloud resources.
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Technical qualifications required

• High experience in .Net Core, C#.
• Strong experience in Javascript related technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS or Azure related technologies.
• Strong understanding relating to the breakdown of Microservices architecture.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work using Automated Testing and Infrastructure as Code format.
• Computer science degree or equivalent
• Strong record of leadership and success within a multiple team format.
