Harlow Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to take charge of developing and refining bespoke software applications that power our print production. This role is crucial in creating efficient, high-quality solutions for print-ready products, including direct mail and promotional games, and offers the chance to work closely with our production teams to drive continuous improvement across a diverse range of projects.
This role is based at our offices in Simonside, Jarrow and will be full time, Monday to Friday.

About the Role:
As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll drive the development and maintenance of custom software applications for our print production processes. The Senior Software Developer role will be instrumental in enhancing software efficiency, supporting product quality, and enabling seamless production across a range of print products, including direct mail and promotional games.

Technical Skills: Advanced experience in software development with C#, JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Basic 6, including DLL integration.
Analytical Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for resolving complex software issues effectively.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to high standards in code quality, testing, and thorough documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance software efficiency and production processes.
Experience with Tools: Skilled in using MSSQL Server databases and Crystal Reports; familiarity with Quadient Inspire Designer is a plus.
