Senior Social Media Manager - motorsports

Package: £55-68k base + company car + bonus + package

Location: South East England – office based 3-4 days

About the Role:

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join their marketing team. This key position requires a creative and strategic individual to lead their social media initiatives, engage their global fanbase, and elevate the digital presence of their brand and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand vision and marketing goals.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation, editing, and scheduling of engaging content across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
  • Community Engagement: Foster and grow a passionate community of fans, responding to and engaging with followers in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyse performance metrics to optimize content strategies and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing, and digital content teams, to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand representation.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitive landscape to keep our digital presence innovative and fresh.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management, preferably within motorsports or a high-profile sports organisation.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in growing social media presence and engagement, with a strong portfolio of past work.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of major social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Passion for Motorsport: A genuine interest in Formula One and an understanding of the sport’s culture and fanbase.
