Experienced Site Manager – Prestigious Cotswold’s Renovation

Contract Type: Freelance

Immediate 10 month contract

We’re recruiting a Site Manager to join a bespoke residential developer, who takes pride in delivering exceptional, high-quality projects with an emphasis on craftsmanship, heritage, and excellence. They are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead a prestigious renovation of a Grade II listed building in the beautiful Cotswolds. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to manage the transformation of a historic property into a luxurious, bespoke residence, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care are met every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and Oversee Site Operations: Ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  2. Manage Subcontractors and Specialist Trades: Coordinate teams and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and successful project delivery.
  3. Problem Solving & Project Momentum: Tackle any construction challenges efficiently to maintain the project’s progress.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Communicate with the client regularly, providing updates and offering effective solutions to any project concerns.
  5. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations (CDM, SMSTS, CSCS).
  6. Budget Control: Work closely with the commercial team to manage budgets and costs effectively.
  7. Material Sourcing & Procurement: Utilize your knowledge of the local supply chain for effective material sourcing.
