The Opportunity:

We are working with a well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor renowned for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare. With a strong pipeline of work in the North East, this is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects without the need for long-distance travel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
2. Manage site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring smooth and efficient site management.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
4. Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
5. Monitor progress, address challenges, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within the construction sector, ideally with a Tier 2 Main Contractor.
2. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple subcontractors.
3. A solid understanding of construction processes, contracts, and health and safety requirements.
4. Experience managing projects in sectors such as commercial, residential, education, or healthcare is desirable.
5. A relevant construction qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree) and SMSTS certification.
