Senior Site Manager - Cheshire - £1.2m Refurbishment - 8 Months
I'm working with a well-established main contractor who are delivering a £1.2m refurbishment project for an assisted living and care facility in Cheshire.
This role offers the opportunity to take a lead on a sensitive and high-profile scheme, with direct liaison between the client, site team, and residents.
The successful candidate will be supported by a Site Manager and will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery while maintaining excellent stakeholder relations.
- Project Leadership:
Lead site operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Act as the main point of contact for the client, residents, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure works are carried out in a manner sensitive to the needs of the facility and its residents. - Team Management:
Oversee and support a Site Manager, subcontractors, and site operatives.
Ensure health & safety compliance is upheld at all times. - Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain open and regular communication with the client and residents throughout the works.
Manage expectations and resolve any issues that arise swiftly and professionally. - Quality & Compliance:
Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure all works meet required standards.
Keep project records up to date, including daily reports, progress updates, and compliance documentation.
- Strong track record as a Senior Site Manager on refurbishment projects, ideally in live environments.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS are essential.
- Experience working on care, healthcare, or assisted living projects is highly desirable.
