Senior Site Engineer in City

Experience Site Engineer - Cardiff

BIR is currently looking for a Senior Site Engineer to work for one of our well-established RC Frame & Groundworks contractors in Cardiff. This is an ongoing project scheduled for completion in October 2025.

The successful candidate will be interviewed immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all QA inspections (pre-pour, post-pour checks) and keep appropriate documentation.
• Coordinate with main contractor representatives regarding inspections.
• Cube up concrete.
• Ensure site engineers carry out works as per programme and site plan.
• Ensure site engineers are using the most up-to-date drawings (to be verified on a daily basis).
• Maintain as-built records, RED Line drawings, and QA documentation.
• Assist site engineers and site team as necessary.

Requirements:

• CSCS card is required.
• Previously worked as a Senior Site Engineer/Senior Engineer/Project Engineer.
• Experienced in RC work and Groundwork - minimum 6 years.
• Must be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
