Senior Site Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join one of the ongoing projects in Sheffield.

This is a freelance position and the potential candidate will be interviewed immediately. The project will run until Feb 2026.

As the Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring all work is carried out as per AFC drawings.
2. Carrying out setting out works.
3. Conducting quality control checks and build records.
4. Assisting the site manager to ensure all operations are carried out safely.
5. Assisting in the supervision of operatives on site.
6. Raising RFIs or TQs.
7. Producing a site diary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

1. A CSCS card.
2. Previously worked as a Senior Engineer in a new build project.
3. Experience in Groundworks, RC Frame, and Civil projects is a plus.
4. A minimum of 4-5 years of UK experience in RC work and Groundwork, plus AutoCAD knowledge.
5. Good knowledge and understanding of setting out.
6. Good knowledge in reading structural and reinforcement drawings.
7. Able to read and understand structural drawings (section details, waterproofing, etc.).
