Senior Scrub Nurse / Luxury Private Hospital

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a great private hospital who are seeking experienced Theatre Scrub Nurses to join their Theatre Team.

This role involves providing a high standard of professional practice and clinical care, working with the theatre team to promote a good working environment and maintain a supportive learning environment within the operating department.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role involve:

1. Ability to provide more complex care needs to patients with minimal supervision.
2. Develop advanced clinical skills and specialist practice.
3. Implement and actively promote research-based nursing and clinical practice.
4. Evaluate care outcomes for a list of patients, as delivered by a team.
5. Delegate and co-ordinate the nursing team in the delivery of care for a theatre list.
6. Demonstrate an understanding of skill mix.
7. Act as clinical resource within the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

Knowledge:

1. Highly specialised in ENT.
2. Able to scrub for a wide variety of different specialities.
3. An understanding of the role and what is expected.

Experience:

1. At least 3 years post registration experience.
2. Minimum 2 years scrub experience.
