ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Analytical Development Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in East Yorkshire. As the Analytical Development Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new small molecule compounds in the field of addiction treatment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Analytical Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead Analytical Development support to all aspects of drug substance development.
2. Carry out or coordinate analysis including sample analysis, method development, method transfer, method validation, and stability studies in an effective and timely manner.
3. Maintain the analytical laboratory and stability cabinets to cGMP standards.
4. Manage, supervise, and coach junior members of the team as required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Analytical Development Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in chemistry or a related discipline.
2. Extensive industry experience in analytical development within a pharmaceutical environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, GC-MS, FTIR, and Karl-Fisher analysis.
