CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Scientist, to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, at their site based in Stevenage, on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary:
Up to £26.67 per hour PAYE or £33.99 per hour via Umb.

Senior Scientist Role:

  • Developing & implementing high throughput methods to predict in vitro antibody characteristics during exposure in vivo.
  • Design, qualify and execute experiments to characterise antibody panels.
  • Working independently to analyse and interpret your data, providing clear recommendations to project teams.
  • Rapidly profile large panels of antibodies and performing interpretations on the generated data in the early discovery phase.

Your Background:

  • Hold a relevant scientific degree or have equivalent working experience.
  • A track record of recent scientific success through relevant post degree experience in academic or industrial science.
  • Experience performing analytical/ biological research techniques, such as immunoassay, flow cytometry, SEC- HPLC.
  • Demonstrated ability for experiment design.
  • Good understanding of antibody clearance mechanisms and related concepts.
