Carnival UK is in search of a Senior Sales Manager – Shore Experiences, a senior role critical to driving our commercial success through strategic leadership and a high-performing team.

The Shore Experience team is dedicated to innovation and excellence in delivering unforgettable experiences for our Guests. We focus on tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of our guests, while also boosting our sales effectiveness to drive growth.

Role Overview

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies across all channels to support our Destination objectives. This role spans both P&O Cruises and Cunard brands, translating commercial targets into actionable content and optimised sales plans - from the point of cruise booking to onboard.

Leading a team of three, the Senior Manager ensures shorex commercial objectives are understood, prioritised, and communicated effectively across the business.

This senior role demands a deep understanding of both brands and involves significant influencing and collaboration with wider business teams to ensure excellent execution.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Sales Channel Optimisation and Expansion: Optimise existing sales channels and identify/establish new ones to enhance sales performance from the point of cruise booking to onboard. Lead a dynamic team to drive these initiatives.
  • Opportunity Identification and Risk Management: Identify trade and guest opportunities, develop creative sales plans to effectively mitigate any risk on selected trades, itineraries, or ships.
  • Market Responsiveness and Adaptability: Stay responsive to market trends and dynamics, adapting sales strategies to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  • Content Management and Brand Alignment: Oversee content for our 8,000 product SKUs, including images, videos, and copy assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and leveraging trade, itinerary, and ship opportunities.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, we offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership

  • Proven experience in a strategic commercial, sales focused role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies and managing stakeholder relationships to drive business growth.
  • Background in leading, mentoring, and managing a team to achieve business objectives.
  • A track record of fostering creativity and innovation within a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for achieving ambitious goals.
