Who are we recruiting for?
Our client, a pioneering organisation in the maritime technology sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join their team. This company has been moving from strength to strength with new client wins and product releases, bringing leading technology solutions to market. This role focuses on new business.

What will you be doing?

1. Actively hunting down business within Maritime, directly selling to Ship Owners and Managers.
2. Maintaining awareness of competitors and responding strategically.
3. Developing sustainable customer relationships and securing orders through direct and indirect sales channels.
4. Analysing customer requirements and assessing performance of accounts.
5. Collaborating with Sales Management, Product Management, and Marketing Communications to maximise opportunities.
6. Reporting market, sales, and bid performance and contributing to competitive reference library and forecasts.
7. Participating in relevant exhibitions as a representative for the company and capturing regional and local market intelligence.

Are you the ideal candidate?

1. Demonstrated sales skills with a proven track record in Maritime.
2. Preferably, a technical background in Maritime.
3. Understanding of maritime industry IoT, data & analytics, software solutions or connectivity technologies.
4. Leadership and people management skills.
5. 5 years or more of direct sales management experience.
6. Senior customer relationship management experience is critical.
7. Experience with shipping companies is desirable.
