SENIOR SALES MANAGER - TECHNOLOGY COMMUNICATIONS

SURREY - HYBRID AFTER PROBATION

UPTO £75,000 + £120,000 OTE + GREAT BENEFITS AND CULTURE

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of an established business who provide cutting edge technology solutions to enterprises, government organisations and maritime industries worldwide. This is a great opportunity for someone from a Senior Sales Manager, Senior Business Development Executive, Account Manager, Business Development, Senior Sales Executive, Sales Manager or similar role.

THE PERSON:

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development or commercial sales.
  2. Proven track record in generating new business and maintaining long-term client relationships particularly within the Oil & Gas, Offshore markets.
  3. Must have experience in managing a small team and driving high performance.
  4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to grasp and explain complex communication technologies and services.

THE ROLE:

  1. Manage and provide leadership to two direct reports. Ensure high performance, provide coaching, and support their professional development.
  2. Seek out, promote, market and sell products and services to new and existing accounts.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, building trust and long term partnerships.
  4. Ensure timely preparation and execution of contracts and purchase orders.
  5. Maintain strong commercial awareness of market trends, customer activities, and competitor offerings. Produce sales forecasts, reports, and budgets as required.
  6. Monitor and update the sales database with new leads, quotes, and account activity.
  7. Build and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services to effectively promote and sell to clients.
