One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Sales Engineer, Financial Services (EMEA) in the United Kingdom.

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving technical sales for the company's AI-driven platform, specifically in the banking and insurance sectors. Working alongside Enterprise Account Executives, you'll deliver product demos, conduct hands-on technical workshops, and design proof-of-concepts that address client needs, ensuring a seamless transition from discovery to solution implementation. You will leverage your deep knowledge of data science and the financial services industry to help clients understand the full potential of the platform, while collaborating across teams to drive product innovation.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead technical engagement with prospects in the banking and insurance sectors, guiding them through the sales cycle from discovery to implementation.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and hands-on workshops, showcasing the platform's capabilities to meet specific customer needs.
  • Manage and execute proof-of-concepts to validate the platform's value proposition and drive customer confidence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in AI and machine learning, addressing technical challenges and providing solutions to complex problems.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by creating documentation, refining demo assets, and sharing best practices with the Sales Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering to align product offerings with market needs and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical pre-sales or sales engineering role, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong background in Data Science, with an understanding of Financial Services industry trends and use cases.
  • Experience in selling enterprise IT software, with a proven track record of success in technical pre-sales.
  • Proficiency in coding, especially with Python, and familiarity with data science libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, Ray, and Dask, and experience working with Linux environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization, and the ability to articulate their enterprise value.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong discovery and pain point identification skills, with the ability to uncover customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
