Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Wheaton Aston, West Midlands
Salary: Circa Up to £48K (includes sleep-in allowance of £70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month) plus time and a third for overtime
Working Hours: Full-time
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years

Who we are looking for…
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Residential Support Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people. The ideal candidate will:
Plan and manage shifts with Residential Support Workers
Safely manage risks in line with company policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans
Provide detailed reports reflecting the progress of young people using our paperless systems
Review care plans and associated documentation
Undertake quality and bespoke training
Attend staff meetings and contribute to improving the service
Advocate for young people using a positive parenting model
Utilise positive support strategies, including de-escalation techniques using in-house training (PRICE)
