During their stay, parents receive tailored support in their parenting journey, helping them to develop safe routines, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. Our team offers daily guidance, role modelling, key work sessions, and practical advice to promote family wellbeing and child safety.

Your Role:

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting families and leading a team of Residential Support Workers. You will:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the home, including household tasks such as cooking and cleaning

  • Lead shifts, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of care and professional practice

  • Monitor safeguarding concerns and ensure policies and procedures are upheld

  • Keep accurate records and contribute to detailed family assessments

  • Foster strong working relationships with external professionals, including local authority teams
What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification relevant to Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within required timeframe)

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a similar family support or residential setting

  • 1 year of supervisory or shift leader experience

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

  • Willingness to travel to support nearby services as required (Hinckley, Coalville, Syston, Mountsorrel)
What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary, with structured progression

  • 26 days of annual leave (rising with length of service)

  • Option to buy additional holiday days

  • Flexible working arrangements where possible

  • Family-friendly leave policies

  • Generous pension scheme with employer contributions

  • Death in service cover (4x annual earnings)

  • Access to employee benefits portal with discounts on retail, travel, gyms, and more

  • Health cash plan options

  • Cycle to Work scheme

  • Free, 24/7 employee wellbeing support
