Our client is a high street private law firm who are seeking a residential conveyancer to join the team. The position offers very good benefits and secretarial support.
Servicing clients across Bedfordshire, the caseload will be mixed, and we are seeking someone who can work unsupervised on sales and purchases for both freehold and leasehold properties; a mix of new build to large listed buildings of historic value. The position will suit a relationship builder with a friendly disposition, and effective communicator who is organised with good drafting skills able to undertake all aspects of residential property matters from inception to post completion.
Responsibilities include overseeing searches and raising and answering all enquiries, ensuring your clients have an understanding of the conveyancing process, and ensuring the smooth running of the process by liaising with estate agents, other legal representatives, and mortgage providers. The firm has a very good reputation and established relationships with local estate agents for referral work. You will be joining an exciting team of fee earners who are seeing an increase in work, and you will be introduced and given the opportunity to nurture all new referrals.
