Our vision is to create a world where insurance is personal, inclusive and a force for good. Our purpose is to help people carry on with their lives, giving them peace of mind now and in the future. We have ambitions for growth and driving change at pace – aspiring to be the UK’s largest insurer.

Reporting into our Head of External Reporting, we’re recruiting for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager to manage and oversee the preparation, validation, and submission of all regulatory reporting, including the Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) and Quarterly Reporting Templates (QRTs) as well as other regulatory reporting such as Pricing Practices and Value Measures reporting.

  3. Regulatory Interpretation and Guidance: Provide expert advice on regulatory reporting standards, particularly regarding Solvency II and evolving regulatory changes. Act as the primary point of contact for internal queries related to regulatory reporting.
  4. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Reporting Managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Finance, Risk, Actuarial, and IT teams to gather the necessary data and ensure alignment across reporting activities.
  6. Continuously review and enhance reporting processes, controls, and systems to ensure efficient and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. Implement best practices and process automation where possible.
  7. Coordinate internal and external audit reviews related to regulatory reporting, addressing audit findings, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  8. Identify potential reporting risks and establish appropriate controls to mitigate those risks. Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

What we’re looking for:

  1. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  2. Experience in regulatory reporting within the insurance or financial services sector, with a focus on regulatory reports such as SFCR, QRTs, RSR, and other Solvency II reports.
  3. Proven track record of managing projects and teams, demonstrating strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory requirements.
  4. Proficiency in regulatory reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
