Job Description:
Our growing client is seeking a personable and experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their impressive recruitment team in Swindon on a warm desk.
With multiple branches across the UK, our client has gained years of knowledge and understanding when it comes to the ever-evolving Industrial and Logistics industries. Working in partnership with market-leading brands, they have taken the time to understand what their clients are really looking for when it comes to hiring their temporary workforce.
This position requires a motivated and determined individual, confident working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in full-cycle recruitment ideally temp, strong business acumen, and a passion for connecting top talent with organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their recruitment needs and organisational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing expert recruitment advice, market insights, and talent strategies.
- Manage client expectations throughout the recruitment process and ensure a high level of satisfaction with the services provided.
Candidate Sourcing and Selection:
- Identify, attract, and engage top talent through various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews, skills testing, and reference checks.
- Present qualified candidates to clients and facilitate interviews and negotiations.
End-to-End Recruitment Process:
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from initial client briefing to candidate placement and post-placement follow-up.
- Ensure smooth and efficient recruitment processes, managing timelines, expectations, and communications with all stakeholders.
Business Development:
- Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expanding the client portfolio.
- Attend client meetings, industry events, networking functions, and conferences to promote the company and develop new client relationships.
Market Research and Insights:
- Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, and talent pool dynamics.
- Provide clients with market insights and salary benchmarking data to aid in their decision-making process.
Key Requirements:
- Proven success in recruitment, ideally within temp recruitment but will consider contract or perm recruiters, or if you are someone from a high performing sales background.
- Be able to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, industry trends, and hiring regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to create new business opportunities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Worked within the industrial, driving, manufacturing, or engineering market (Not a necessity but would be desirable).
