Job description

This is a great opportunity for a highly organised and pro-active recruiter who will:

  1. Manage job listings and monitor incoming applications via applicant tracking system.
  2. Build strong working relationships.
  3. Deal with recruitment queries.
  4. Work with hiring managers to agree on vacancy requirements, job descriptions, and approvals.
  5. Create and publish job adverts, fully utilising a wide range of platforms to advertise roles.
  6. Source and connect with suitably qualified candidates.
  7. Screen and shortlist candidates and move them through the system.
  8. Arrange interviews and employee testing.
  9. Assist with student schemes and training programmes.
  10. Manage employment offers to successful candidates, including negotiating employment terms and finalising offers.
  11. Represent at job fairs and careers events.

Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally gained in a legal or professional services environment, along with knowledge of applicant tracking systems and sourcing candidates. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organisation skills, and attention to detail are required. The successful individual will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask and have a problem-solving and results-driven approach.

The successful candidate will be based in Jersey and ideally hold Entitled or Entitled for Work status.
