We are looking for a Senior Radiographer to join the team to work in our purpose-built Interventional and Cardiac suite at Colchester Hospital. There is also an opportunity to rotate into CT.
This post is fixed term until 31/03/2026. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only.
Our combined Interventional Radiology & Cardiac Angiography (IRCA) unit provides a 24/7 service for interventional radiology. Colchester is a Vascular centre which accepts patients from across the region for urgent, life-saving procedures such as EVAR, FEVAR, embolization, thrombolysis and angioplasty. The dedicated Cardiac Catheterisation lab provides cardiology services such as diagnostic coronary angiography and pacemaker implants. The IRCA department carries out over 3000 procedures per annum.
We require a Radiographer to provide effective, high-quality individualised care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of radiology practice.
This post is 37.5 hours per week, which consists of 4 longer days with an off day during the week, which may be subject to change upon needs of the service.
