Senior Radiographer

Brentwood Hospital | Radiology | Fixed-term contract | Full time |

Up to £38,500.00 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

As a Senior Radiographer, you will:

  1. See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy.

  2. Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre.

  3. Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.

  4. Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.

  5. Supervise and develop junior colleagues.

  6. Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
