About the Company

Our client, a leading cost consultancy, is seeking a MRICS Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London. You will be joining a vibrant and collaborative team working on high profile, exclusive projects in London. Working across the real estate sectors of major project residential, hotels, commercial offices, stadiums, life science, education and healthcare, this is an opportunity to work with the leading developers and clients on some of the most exciting major projects in the capital with values of £100 million plus.

About the Role

Your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Leading all elements of cost management from start to finish.
  2. Managing multiple projects and/or large-scale projects with key clients.
  3. Delivering high-level feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans at each stage of the design process.
  4. Supporting and supervising the junior members of the team to ensure that the cost management service is efficient and productive.
  5. Assisting the senior team with business planning while contributing to gaining repeat business and new clients.
  6. Preparing and issuing tender documents.
  7. Managing the tender process, evaluating and analysing the tender returns, and providing recommendations to the clients, in addition to providing procurement advice.
  8. Analysing the cost of construction designs and alternative proposals to maintain within the project budget.
  9. Providing advice on building contract terms.
  10. Providing effective post-contract cost control procedures, including determining the effect of changes and analysing and negotiating final account settlements.
  11. Developing and maintaining connections with clients and consultants.

  2. Experienced in JCT suite.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: up to £75,000 basic, plus competitive benefits package.
