Senior Quantity Surveyor - Oxford

Senior Quantity Surveyor - a leading privately-owned contractor is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on prestigious design and build projects across the region.

Supported by a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for a £20m 5 storey steel frame building in Oxford, consisting of 189 student accommodation apartments.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
2. Experience managing sub-contractor variations
3. Experience dealing with / managing final accounts
4. Industry related qualification

Key Duties:

1. Take-off to building quantities and produce schedules of works
2. Formulate Subcontract Tenders
3. Chair Pre-let meetings and finalising Subcontract Orders
4. Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
5. Dealing with variations and valuations
6. Production of CVRs

Salary & Package:

1. Great basic salary of £65,000 - £80,000

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from £20m - £100m.
