Senior Quantity Surveyor (Chartered)

Project Delivery Consultancy

Based in Pall Mall, London

Permanent: up to £80,000 + Package

We are currently searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with one of the most highly regarded Project Delivery Consultancies in the UK. They pride themselves on having repeat work from a range of high-profile clients and operate across the residential and commercial sectors.

Role:

  1. Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial control across project lifecycles.
  2. Manage procurement strategies, tendering, and contractor selection.
  3. Oversee contract administration, including change control and claims management.
  4. Monitor and report on project financial performance, risks, and forecasts.
  5. Ensure compliance with contract terms, construction law, and best practices.
  6. Support project delivery teams with commercial advice and strategic input.
  7. Lead and mentor junior QS staff, promoting best-in-class quantity surveying standards.
  8. Represent the consultancy in client meetings, providing clear, expert commercial guidance.

Required:
  1. In-depth knowledge of cost planning and construction contracts.
  2. Experience working a mix of residential and commercial projects would be preferred.
  3. Commercial awareness and risk management.
  4. Strong negotiation, leadership, and client-facing skills.
  5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards this.
