Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in major construction projects is essential.
  • Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and standard measurement methods required.

  • Coordinate month-end returns and internal forecasts.
  • Liaise with clients on compensation events and payment queries.
  • Oversee subcontract management processes and value analysis.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kingston upon Hull

Responsibilities:
  • Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
  • Co-ordination of AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
  • Provision of information for Monthly Reports
  • Review of EW notifications & BUK responses or notifications downstream & upstream
  • Liaising with Client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
  • Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
  • Calculation of BOQ star rates
  • Remeasurement of BOQ
  • Drafting of notifications including letters
  • Overseeing of Subcontract Management processes
  • Value analysis– SOR, FP, day works
  • Change Management – Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events
  • Payment Application & Invoicing
  • Innovation to improve job margin
Experience Required:
