An established industry player is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Kingston upon Hull. This role is pivotal in managing financial aspects of major construction projects, ensuring accurate reporting and effective communication with clients regarding compensation events. Extensive experience in major construction projects is essential.
Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and standard measurement methods required.

Coordinate month-end returns and internal forecasts.
Liaise with clients on compensation events and payment queries.
Oversee subcontract management processes and value analysis.

Knowledge of NAECI Agreement

Experience on major Construction Projects

Basic knowledge of P6 programmes

Responsibilities:

Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
Co-ordination of AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
Provision of information for Monthly Reports
Review of EW notifications & BUK responses or notifications downstream & upstream
Liaising with Client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
Calculation of BOQ star rates
Remeasurement of BOQ
Drafting of notifications including letters
Overseeing of Subcontract Management processes
Value analysis– SOR, FP, day works
Change Management – Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events
Payment Application & Invoicing
Innovation to improve job margin

Experience Required:

Knowledge of NAECI Agreement
