A forward-thinking company is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, supporting critical rail infrastructure projects across the South Coast and South London. This role offers a blend of hybrid working, allowing you to work from home two days a week while also engaging on-site and in the office. You'll be instrumental in managing costs, minimizing risks, and enhancing value for money on projects that can reach up to £50 million. If you're ready to take the next step in your Quantity Surveying career and have experience with NEC contracts, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
We're recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the Southern Renewals Enterprise Framework, which anticipates a major increase in spend over the next 10 years' upgrading critical rail infrastructure across the South Coast and South London. The role offers flexibility to work from home 2 days a week with another 2 days in the office and 1 day on site visiting your different projects.
Due to the nature of the rail contracts, it is essential you have experience of working with NEC contracts and building relationships with your client's representatives. The value of these projects will vary from minor works schemes up to one-off £50m projects running for several years.
In return you'll be enrolled into the company car scheme (or allowance), private healthcare pension, life assurance, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), travel and the freedom of hybrid working.
Experience of working in the rail sector is favourable but not essential; however, we expect a Senior Quantity Surveyor to have shown a clear route of progression through Quantity Surveying on NEC Contractual Projects. If you are a Quantity Surveyor looking to make the step up, please apply.
