Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Rail/Civils – London

We are currently working with a prestigious client who is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to expand their existing team of Quantity Surveyors. Working on high profile projects based in London, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills whilst working on Major Rail projects in London.

Remuneration:

£55,000 – £70,000 per annum plus car/car allowance & benefits

London

The role:

1. Experience of setting up and/or operating office management systems including filing systems and document control and distribution
2. Experience of technical minute taking at contractual meetings and able to demonstrate the ability to collate information and prepare reports
3. Experience of drafting contractual correspondence on behalf of the Project Manager and preparation of payment certificates and interim financial reports
4. Experience of contributing to procurement and contract strategies
5. Negotiating and team-working skills and the ability to motivate and lead
6. Strong analytical skills
7. Demonstrable legal, contractual and construction knowledge

Requirements:

1. Rail or Civil Engineering background
2. NEC Contracts
3. Strong ethics and principles
4. Great interpersonal skills
