Senior Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued project wins, our client is expanding their team and looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a view to progress this position into a Managing Quantity Surveyor role in quick succession.

The ideal experience includes:

1. Relevant qualifications such as MSc/BSc within Quantity Surveying
2. Experience of NEC Forms of Contract, preferably NEC 4
3. Experience of Cost Value Reconciliations, Cost Planning and Forecasting.
4. Experience of working within the infrastructure sector such as rail, highways, water, civils.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
6. Ability to develop close relationships, particularly with the key stakeholders for the Project.
7. A well organised and disciplined approach, demonstrating the ability to accurately analyse and report on information gained.
8. Confidence to work on own initiative with good planning and preparation skills.

The works include projects valued from £1m - £7m across civils rail including platforms, stations, renewals etc.

The office is based in central Birmingham but with hybrid working available; there is parking on site which is paid for by the company.
