We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Quality Engineers to join our team and contribute to the Old Oak Common Station project.

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met across the Work Packages assigned to you. Overseeing all quality-related activities and documentation, whilst ensuring all documentation is produced on schedule, addressing and resolving non-conformances promptly.

What you'll be doing

Some key responsibilities will be:

1. Ensure quality management is given the highest priority in the delivery of their works to achieve Right First Time.
2. Act as main point of contact for all quality related topics within your Work Packages.
3. Support sub-contractors in the development of quality documentation and ensure the review of these documents.
4. Check and inspect the works during progress and on completion to ensure that it has been constructed in line with the Requirements.
5. Ensure Non-conformances are raised in a timely manner by the sub-contractors, and managed effectively to ensure their closure within the agreed timeframe.
6. Support the Quality Manager in maintaining metrics and dashboards to measure performance of Quality.
7. Support the Quality Team in the ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System and in promoting Quality on the project.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

1. Practical experience in quality management within the construction industry, preferably on a project-based organization.
2. Ability to build strong relationships with the project team members, suppliers, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
3. Technical knowledge and experience relevant to Fibre-reinforced concrete (FRC) works, structural steel, fit-out, MEPH.
4. Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing and influence others including senior management.
