Elevation Recruitment Group is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a specialist manufacturing company based in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on professional to drive product and process improvements, ensuring the highest quality standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and develop the Quality Management System (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support continuous improvement.
  2. Monitor and enhance processes in line with ISO 9001/14001 and customer-specific requirements.
  3. Lead, support, and conduct internal and external audits across all areas of the business.
  4. Ensure a right-first-time approach is achieved and maintained, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
  5. Identify and resolve quality issues using structured problem-solving techniques such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Pareto analysis, Kaizen (CI), and 8D problem-solving.
  6. Drive corrective actions with suppliers, internal manufacturing teams, customers, and external auditors to improve QMS performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Manufacturing experience in a similar quality engineering role
  2. Experience in dealing directly with customers and suppliers
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
