Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000.
What you will be doing
Plan and ensure company internal audits are executed in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System.
Prepare and execute inspections and test plans for project specific activities to supplement task planning.
Create and ensure compliance to ITPs and maintain the supporting documentation.
Manage the Quality activities and provide guidance, training, and support to subcontractors.
Coordinate with site teams to address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Oversee the construction process to ensure that all activities are according to established quality standards.
Interpret customer standards, product specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards and translate them into detailed QA documents (Inspection and Test Plans, procedures, etc.) to ensure the products/service will meet the specified requirements.
Interface with the Engineering, Procurement, Construction on matters related to the planning of QA activities required by the design and applicable codes and standards.
Interface with internal staff, various suppliers, customer representatives and regulatory authorities on issues related to quality and compliance.
Support with conducting root cause analysis and timely implementation of corrective/preventive action to respond to customer complaints, internal and supplier concerns.
Champion the document control process of records via SharePoint & EDMS on Aconex software.
Drive continuous improvement in quality management based on the Plan-do-check-act (PDCA) Deming cycle.
Support the Executive Management on ensuring compliance to legal requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline.
10 to 15 years of experience in quality management on infrastructure projects and possibly maritime operations.
Working knowledge of pertinent regulations, codes and specifications related to the construction industry (concrete, steel, asphalt).
Adept in technical or operational aspects of safety management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Knowledge of procedure-writing and formatting with flow charts and/or flow lines.
Experience in interpreting project specifications and engineering drawings.
Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Class 5 driver license is highly preferred.
Availability to potentially work evenings, weekends and longer hours if required.
