Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000.

What you will be doing

• Plan and ensure company internal audits are executed in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System.
• Prepare and execute inspections and test plans for project specific activities to supplement task planning.
• Create and ensure compliance to ITPs and maintain the supporting documentation.
• Manage the Quality activities and provide guidance, training, and support to subcontractors.
• Coordinate with site teams to address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Oversee the construction process to ensure that all activities are according to established quality standards.
• Interpret customer standards, product specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards and translate them into detailed QA documents (Inspection and Test Plans, procedures, etc.) to ensure the products/service will meet the specified requirements.
• Interface with the Engineering, Procurement, Construction on matters related to the planning of QA activities required by the design and applicable codes and standards.
• Interface with internal staff, various suppliers, customer representatives and regulatory authorities on issues related to quality and compliance.
• Support with conducting root cause analysis and timely implementation of corrective/preventive action to respond to customer complaints, internal and supplier concerns.
• Champion the document control process of records via SharePoint & EDMS on Aconex software.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality management based on the Plan-do-check-act (PDCA) Deming cycle.
• Support the Executive Management on ensuring compliance to legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in quality management on infrastructure projects and possibly maritime operations.
• Working knowledge of pertinent regulations, codes and specifications related to the construction industry (concrete, steel, asphalt).
• Adept in technical or operational aspects of safety management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of procedure-writing and formatting with flow charts and/or flow lines.
• Experience in interpreting project specifications and engineering drawings.
• Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Class 5 driver license is highly preferred.
• Availability to potentially work evenings, weekends and longer hours if required.
