We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join our client team for a prestigious Super Prime Residential Project in Regent Street, London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Tier One Main Contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality, luxury developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Package Management: Take full responsibility for managing packages within the project, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
2. Variations: Monitor, assess, and manage variations on the project, providing accurate costing and negotiating with subcontractors.
3. Remeasures: Conduct remeasures and ensure the correct interpretation of drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
4. Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows and resolve any issues related to cost, time, or quality.
5. Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports and forecasts.
6. Support the project team in all aspects of cost management, ensuring that the project stays within budget while achieving quality standards.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in high-end residential projects, ideally with a Tier One Main Contractor.
2. In-depth knowledge of package management, variations, and remeasures within the construction industry.
3. Experience working on super prime or luxury residential developments is highly desirable.
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, CostX, or similar).
6. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (MRICS qualification is a plus).

Contract Details:

1. Duration: Freelance 6 – 12 months
2. Rate: £400 - £450 per day
3. Start Date: ASAP
