Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior QS on a contract basis. The position will be based in Birmingham. For further information about this position please apply.

The role:

1. ASAP start
2. 6-month initial contract
3. Inside IR35
4. Hybrid - office/site 2-3 days and wfh

Requirements:

1. Strong NEC knowledge
2. Skilled Senior QS with proven experience
3. Previous substation experience
4. Experience working for Tier 1 contractor

Specific duties:

This role will provide commercial support at a project level in all aspects of commercial control. You will work on both live projects and tender opportunities within the power sector. You will use your in-depth experience of the NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract (Options A and C) to administer projects effectively including the development and implementation of subcontracts with the supply chain. This specific role requires Estimating experience.
