Senior Python Developer
Permanent
£80,000- £85,000 (DOE)
London – Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer for a permanent role based in central London area.
Hybrid working with the expectation of 3 days/week on site in London. Immediate start ideally March – April 2025. Only candidates who are SC eligible or active SC holders will be considered.
A chance to work with a leading digital transformation business on large-scale IT modernisation programmes for government clients.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Python is essential
- Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with Databricks for data processing and analysis
- Solid architecture and design knowledge to ensure scalable and efficient systems
- Proven experience with web frameworks (Django, Flask)
- Lead the development of MVPs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance banking applications
- Work closely with UI/UX Designers to seamlessly integrate visualizations into web applications or other platforms
- Develop and maintain data interfaces to connect various systems within the bank
- Experience in the Banking and or Government sectors is highly desirable.
