About Us

At Freshfields, our Public Cloud & Identity team is at the forefront of driving digital transformation. We own and govern Freshfields’ Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), ensuring scalability, innovation, and seamless service delivery to our global teams.

We’re expanding our capabilities and looking for a Senior Public Cloud Engineer to help design, develop, and support platforms that deliver cutting-edge solutions in our Azure and GCP environments.

Your Role

As a Senior Public Cloud Engineer, you will:

1. Lead life-cycle management, ensuring platforms are evergreen and aligned with our "Cloud First" strategy.
2. Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions that meet business needs.
3. Automate routine tasks, develop orchestration workflows, and champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver highly available, enterprise-grade applications.
5. Support incident and problem management, ensuring optimal system performance.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. Deep expertise in major cloud platforms, especially Azure (AWS/GCP a bonus).
2. Hands-on experience with Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles.
3. Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform/ARM/DSC and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Experience with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and hosting solutions (web apps, APIs, Azure SQL).
5. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Familiarity with Windows/Linux server administration and Red Hat systems.
2. Exposure to Agile development environments.
