About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Manager to join a prestigious property management firm in Birmingham. This firm is responsible for managing high-profile properties on behalf of large investors and asset owners. As a Senior Property Manager, you will be entrusted with managing a diverse portfolio of premium properties, ensuring operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and delivering strategic value for the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of high-value properties, ensuring exceptional service, tenant satisfaction, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for major investors, providing regular updates, strategic advice, and detailed performance reports.
- Financial Management: Create and manage property budgets, control operational costs, and identify opportunities to improve revenue generation and cost efficiencies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of property management professionals, ensuring high standards of service delivery and effective resource management.
- Strategic Oversight: Work with senior stakeholders to develop and implement long-term strategies for property performance, maximising asset value.
- Maintenance & Compliance: Ensure all properties are well-maintained, with effective management of repairs, service contracts, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, ensuring the smooth administration of leases and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in property management, particularly with high-value commercial or residential properties.
- Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of property management, including financial management, leasehold law, and relevant property regulations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, effectively managing multiple properties and balancing competing priorities.
- Client-Focused: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage and build relationships with clients.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised with strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Qualifications: RICS or IRPM accreditation is desirable, though not essential.
- Technology Skills: Familiarity with property management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
