Home Based (working in Southern Hampshire and SE Dorset)
35 hours per week
Salary: £24,024 per annum

The Conservation Volunteers connect people and green spaces to deliver lasting outcomes for both.

About the role:

The job holder will set up and deliver 3 new volunteer projects in Southern Hampshire/East Dorset. The key to achieving this will be the successful recruitment and management of volunteers, along with the management of budgets, resources, and external relationships. They will also contribute to site management plans and monitor biodiversity improvements.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of recruiting & leading groups of volunteers, planning & delivering practical conservation projects, and working in partnership with other organisations. You will have a lively interest in the environment and be able to communicate effectively with people with varying abilities and levels of influence. Knowledge of implementing health initiatives would be an advantage.

We are looking for a self-starter who is able to work independently, building strong relationships with partner organisations, community groups and the public, whilst promoting TCV and staying aware of any income generating opportunities.

  • A full driving licence is required as the post holder has use of a company vehicle.
