Job Title: Senior Project/Contracts Manager
Location: Marine - Antrim

Due to continued growth and recent contract awards, Thorn Baker's exceptional client is currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Manager for high-end fit-out projects within their Marine division in Antrim. Delivering prestigious and exciting bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects across a broad range of sectors, you will be part of a progressive, internationally renowned company with over 45 years' experience in providing exceptional quality work.

The role is predominately office-based in Antrim, but as a Project Manager, there will be a requirement to travel to locations throughout the world to oversee project delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Manage the successful delivery of projects.
2. Undertake responsibility for all safety, health, environment and quality matters ensuring adherence to statutory and legal requirements and Company procedures.
3. Develop the project plan and budget, monitor progress and ensure deliverables are achieved.
4. Ensure that project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed.
5. Manage client relationships.
6. Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised.
7. Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.

Required Skills:

1. 5+ years' experience leading project delivery within the interior fit-out industry
2. Third level construction related qualification
3. Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
4. Strong contract knowledge and commercial acumen
5. Experience of delivering marine fit-out projects is desirable, but not essential.
