Client:
Our client is a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. They carry out a range of fit-out projects across various sectors including commercial, hotels, luxury residential and specialist joinery projects. The business is thriving and are winning new projects regularly. As a result, they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Manager to join them. The Senior Project Manager will be based in Antrim full time but there will be a need to travel to locations across the world to oversee project delivery. This tends to be 2 or 3 times a year for 2 or 3 weeks at a time.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful delivery of projects
  • Undertake responsibility for all safety, health, environment and quality matters ensuring adherence to statutory and legal requirements and Company procedures
  • Develop the project plan and budget, monitor progress and ensure deliverables are achieved
  • Ensure that project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed
  • Manage client relationships
  • Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised
  • Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.

The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience working on high end fit out projects
  • Track record working as a Project Manager
  • Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills
  • Great attention to detail, commercial acumen and cost control
  • Excellent management skills
  • Good IT Skills to enable flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Able to commute to Antrim on a daily basis
  • Happy to travel and stay away when required
