Job Description
My client, a leading real estate investment developer specialising in luxury hotel developments across Europe is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer/Senior Project Manager to lead and manage critical aspects of cost analysis, tender procurement, and time schedule management for our projects. Reporting directly to Idan Sade, Director of Engineering & Design, the ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in engineering, project management, and procurement, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis:
- Conduct detailed cost analyses for various projects to ensure budget optimization.
- Prepare cost estimates and evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Review and validate financial projections, budgets, and expenditure forecasts.
Tender Procurement:
- Lead the preparation, issuance, and evaluation of tenders in compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Assess supplier proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Time Schedule Management:
- Develop, manage, and monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to milestones and deadlines.
- Identify potential delays and propose mitigation strategies.
- Utilize project management tools to track and report progress.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports, including progress updates, budget analyses, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement, scheduling, and cost-related activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree ).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cost analysis, tender procurement, and time schedule management.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion with focus on luxury hospitality projects .
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost analysis software.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes, procurement laws, and contract management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are an advantage.
