We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Management Officer (PMO) to help us in driving our ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will possess production/manufacturing experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing detailed project work plans.

The Senior Project Management Officer will be responsible for the successful delivery of small to large scale complex projects at the Hull Blade Factory, leading projects from requirements definition through to deployment; identifying schedules, scopes, managing budgets, resourcing and implementation of plans (tracking projects and associated deliverables), including risk mitigations. The scope of works involves all project management activities associated with the lifecycle of a project.

The PMO will also be responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal stakeholders, and with vendors, to facilitate and ensure successful implementation.

The position requires solid leadership, facilitation, team building and change management skills to influence and guide cross-functional teams throughout all aspects of assigned projects.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  1. Leading and overseeing all aspects of project execution
  2. Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks
  3. Building and developing a project team to ensure maximum performance/optimal utilisation of resources - providing purpose, direction and motivation, and ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budget
  4. Creating a collaborative consultative work environment, with matrix teams, and workgroups cross-departmentally and cross-functionally.
  5. Reporting project outcomes and / or risks to stakeholders; escalating issues quickly and efficiently and ensuring work plans adapted accordingly

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:

  1. Strong project management experience- proven success in management of concurrent projects
  2. Experienced in project management platforms
  3. Leadership – experienced in coaching project teams to strengthen abilities/skill sets
  4. Management of budgets
  5. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
  6. Minimum of 4 years in a senior project manager role
