The Manufacturing function within the Asset Management Business of Altrad Babcock provides consultancy services to the Oil and Gas, Process, Nuclear, and Renewables sectors. Within this function, we have an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join us in Renfrew.
Our successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of the team providing a wide range of expertise across the division, as well as undertaking work across the wider Asset Management business.
You will lead major manufacturing projects through the entire project workflow from tender to project close out. You will lead toolbox talks and project kick-offs. In addition to this, you will project manage and lead major manufacturing programmes either as self-standing contracts or as part of a project team within a wider Asset Management product platform. You will also be required to have a thorough understanding of manufacturing principles and requirements ensuring that these are governed and implemented to provide final product meeting all QHSE requirements.
You will also be responsible for providing expertise in the field of manufacturing in support of the Asset Management's activities. To interpret client project requirements and specify delivery strategy and implement and govern this strategy to fulfil contractual agreements.
Our new Senior Project Engineer will hold a relevant Engineering degree and considerable transferrable experience, ideally in Manufacturing and fabrication within a similar sector. We are looking for proven experience in project management and cost control and have a thorough understanding of manufacturing principles and methodologies within a workshop environment.
